According to information from vHost's monitoring system, our system has detected a incident at our Datacenter with detailed reports as follows:
- Incident start time: From 08:34 April 5, 2024 (GMT +7:00 Vietnam Timezone).
- Incident end time: Until 11:04 April 5, 2024 (GMT +7:00 Vietnam Timezone).
- Impacts: Services with IP at CMC Datacenter have intermittent connections and unstable access.
- Incident causes: A customer's VPS is attacked and another IP address is spoofed, sending malicious traffic out, affecting the system's network.
- Solution: We will review and enable the anti-IP address spoofing feature on all VPSs from now until April 20, 2024. For newly registered VPS: this feature will be automatically enabled.
We sincerely apologize for this unexpected incident and please notify customers to monitor the situation.
